TLDR: Antler US is announcing a few companies fundraising, and David Blaine talks about coral’s telepathic communication.
Antler was recently ranked by Pitchbook as one of the most active early-stage investors in the world. We have 25 locations around the world, and specifically in the US, we originate around 50 companies per year.
We spend a minimum of two months with our founders, working in person, before we make an investment decision, and that is a competitive advantage when it comes to underwriting the founder, but also when it comes to the founders having a close relationship with their investors before committing to work with them for ten years.
Next week, we’ll share a select group who are fundraising, and more specifically, who we believe are ready to fundraise given the tough environment we’re in.
These companies go through a rigorous process to ensure they are building a sustainable business that is venture scalable, and ready to raise from our peers who focus on the next stages of investing. Here are a few highlights:
A trade finance platform that has grown from $1.3m ARR in 2021 to $5m+ in 2022, on pace to hit $12m in 2023
IoT sensors that help customers save water and energy. A YC ‘21 company with more than $50m in pilot renewal pipeline and current customers who are in investing in this round
An inventory financing platform with $2m in revenue in 2022 and on pace for $9m in 2023
A workflow automation platform that turns company video calls in a neural net and knowledge base, growing 4X YoY across 3,800 companies like Square, Salesforce, and Netflix
A YC ‘23 company that takes unstructured voice data, turning call center insights into surface revenue opportunities using AI. Currently in pilots with Berkshire Hathaway, and many others
An AI learning platform for sales teams that already has $400K ARR and customers like Stripe and Re:Work, growing 2X QoQ
A new sales engine, leveraging AI to automate prospect list creation, hyper-personalized outreach, and calendar organization. The tool is a 10X for SDR teams and agencies, with 85% of customer calls have turning into paid pilots
We’re announcing the full list to our LP’s this week, and six of the companies already have term sheets, but if you’d like an early look you can click the link below to send me a message, or if you know someone who you think would benefit from Antler’s deal flow, you can always forward the Monday Morning Meeting to them.
And if you’re not here for the VC stuff, and instead just wanted a quick Monday morning musing, here is David Blaine on TikTok explaining the craziest thing you’ve probably never heard of—coral’s telepathic communication.
See you Monday.
