TLDR: How are you scripting your 2024?
It’s one of those crisp fall mornings in New York.
Having been out of the city for a few days, the leaves seemed to have turned overnight.
It’s cold, but not too cold.
Brilliantly sunny, completely clear skies.
A bluebird day of sorts, to borrow the term.
There’s something about a day like this that renews your optimism and increases your ambition.
It’s hard to believe we’re five weeks from 2024.
It’s around this time of year that I usually take my annual solo trip.
A time to reflect and set goals for the following year (here & here).
Side note: MMM ranks 5th on Google for the word tlazocamati.
Kind of crazy to think those goals were set 11 months ago, but we’ve crossed off 35 of the 52, and I’ve got clear line of sight to 7 or 8 more before January.
That’s going to leave me 10 short, with 6 being books I wanted to read, but wasn’t able to prioritize (yet), and two stretch goals; a true Misogi Challenge & buying an investment property in a ski town.
I did do a few impromptu half marathons, but those were neither on the goals list nor is that a real Misogi.
This one haunts me. So does the ski house.
That brings me to 2024.
I’ve been getting followed around the internet by Jesse Itzler posts recently.
He maps out his entire year with a series of key principles.
And a bunch more worth scrolling through…
Anyway, it’s time to start thinking about your script for 2024.
If you’re making a list, a “big ass calendar,” or have another technique, I’d love to hear about it.
See you Monday.
