TLDR: Childlike wonder doesn’t haven’t to be at odds with adultlike ego.
One Question:
What’s something you truly loved to do as a child?
One Tweet:
It’s so funny how so much of “finding yourself” in adulthood is simply getting back to who you were and what you loved as a child...
One Thought:
Status, ego, competition, and perfection may just be the enemies of joy and fun.
Childlike wonder ignores the former where adulthood embraces it. But then again, as a baseball coach once told me, “We’re here to have fun, and no one has fun losing.”
To find harmony between the two, find something you’re good at, that you love, and that the world needs—all at the same time.
See you Monday.
