TLDR; 28 companies with incredible traction going out to raise their seed rounds next week.
Every once in a while I throw a shameless plug in the MMM.
These next few weeks are what we call Investor Week at Forum Ventures.
It happens twice a year, and is really more of an ‘investor month’ despite the name.
Our program starts with three months of building & selling, and culminates in a month of fundraising.
Since July, we have been working closely with more than 30 companies as fractional founders, helping amazing leaders turn their ideas and products into billion-dollar startups.
As a former sales leader, and our de facto CRO at Forum, I have a natural inclination to focus on traction. Of course, one important part of any sales organization is it’s cadence, and a core component of a sales cadences is a forecast.
Each week we help our founders hold themselves and their teams accountable to three leading indicators and three lagging indicators. Taken together, they are a collection of data points that tell a comprehensive story week to week on activity, progress, and results.
Here are the growth numbers* from the past 12 weeks:
Customer Calls Per Week: +25%
Pipeline: +75%
Active Users (product-led): +3415%
Customers (enterprise-led): +356%
Forecasted ARR: +199%
Revenue Per Company: +476%
*These growth numbers are averages across a wide subset of companies and go-to-market strategies, some of which are pre-revenue, product-led growth, or enterprise SaaS.
Next week we will be announcing 28 of these companies, and if you would like to see the portfolio, invest alongside Forum, or make introductions to the founders, you can sign up here or reach out to me directly.
See you Monday.
